Oct. 16 2016 We did refurbishing work for Cambodia.

It cleared up in the morning and we started refurbishing work for Cambodia. Nearly 70 members joined today’s work, including Vietnamese group, Sagami Women’s College group, Nikko Asset Management group, Ethiopian group, Tama Technical High School group, a volunteer from Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd., and other regular volunteers. Though it became cloudy while working and it rained a little, the work went smoothly and we finished refurbishing 43 wheelchairs today, which means we have finished 67 in total. We’ll have reached 90, our original goal for Cambodia next month.

Today’s lunch was Vietamense dishes, Pho and Spring rolls, made by Vietnamese group. They did everything for our lunch, from getting foodstuff, preparing cookware, and cooking. Everyone must have had the same feeling, a sense of unity. Thank you, Vietnamese Group!
