２０１７年５月２日タイ王国ノンタブリー県 Ｐｅａｒｌ Ｒｅｓｏｒｔ Ｈｏｔｅｌ にて車椅子９９台の贈呈式を行いました。その贈呈に対して、贈呈式の準備から開催までを行った当会会員の木村氏宛てにＡＰＨＴから感謝のメールが届きました。

Dear Mr. Takefumi Kimura
I am writing to express again my sincere gratitude and appreciation to you for honoring me at The 2017 Wheelchairs Handover Ceremony to APHT. I would particularly like to express again my thanks for wheelchairs.
On May,22 We went to Ang Thong Special education school.
At Ang thong Province has 7 special education school, as 7 district. and on May,22 we went to Mueang district, is center.
The teacher handel all wheelchairs. They servay to another district for donate the wheelchair for them, if they find children who have same size of wheelchair.
This school has 119 students, all type of disabilities. The school has many classrooms such as computer room (supported by TOT, TOT public company ltd.) , Sensory room , vacation room (SAORI) etc.
Students with these kinds of special needs are likely to benefit from additional educational service such as different approaches to teaching, the use of technology, a specially adapted teaching area.
But in Thailand, disable children can not afford the appropriate wheelchair. They derived from government, “Health Promoting Hospital”.
The Health Promoting Hospital order wheelchair from APHT( factory ) but wheelchair is not fitting.
The wheelchair is standard size. It is not suitable and comfort.
We meet Bass Jung, the boy is 3 year old. Autistic disorder and weak muscle. He has been studying here for 3 months. His home far from school 5 km. Bass Jung got a new wheelchair from the latest receive from you. 6 months ago, Bass Jung fell from wheelchair. It is too big and it not has belt. His forehead cracked. He still has scar. Now he got the new wheelchair. He said ” I can move fast and i like it” He can go anywhere he want.
We thank you once again for your kindness and share your love for disable childrens in Thailand.

車椅子の贈呈のお礼を伝えたくてこのメールを送ります。
私たちは、Ａｎｇ Ｔｈｏｎｇ県にある７つの特別支援学校の一つを５月２２日に訪ねました。生徒数は１１９名で様々な障害を抱えています。タイでは標準サイズの車椅子しか手に入らず３歳のＢａｓｓ Ｊｕｎｇ はベルトもない車椅子から落ちたときの傷がまだ額に残っています。その彼が日本からの車椅子に乗り、「さっと動けてうれしい」と言っています。彼はもうどこにでも行けるのです。
みなさまのご親切とタイの障害児への愛に感謝しています。
